Bicycle touring is a growing sport! And Route 60 is one of the main cross country routes. All the cyclists talk about Pie Town. Locals can become WarmShowers hosts or keep supplies that cyclists need in stock, such as tire tubes and Udder Balm. (Yes, really!)
